Terms of Service
Effective July 2, 2026. Plain English on purpose — if anything here is unclear, ask us before you agree to it.
1. The agreement
These terms are a contract between you and Verity (“Verity,” “we,” “us”), the service at tellverity.com. By creating an account, starting a trial, or using the service, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use Verity.
2. What Verity is
Verity generates marketing content for real estate professionals — video scripts, thumbnails, social posts, newsletters, outreach copy, and related tools — using artificial intelligence, personalized with the brand details you provide. Verity is a drafting tool. It is not a brokerage, and nothing it produces is legal, financial, tax, or brokerage advice.
3. Your account
Keep your sign-in credentials secure — you’re responsible for activity under your account. Give us accurate information, including your name, brokerage, and license details, since they appear in the content Verity creates for you. One account is for one agent; don’t share a login across a team.
4. Trials, subscriptions, and billing
Verity is a monthly subscription billed through Stripe. New accounts get a 14-day free trial with no card required; when the trial ends, generation features stop until you subscribe. Founding-member pricing stays at its promised rate for as long as the subscription remains active and in good standing. You can cancel any time and keep access through the end of the period you already paid for; we don’t give refunds for partial months. If we ever change standard pricing, we’ll give existing subscribers at least 30 days’ notice.
5. What you put in
You keep ownership of everything you provide — your logos, headshots, photos, brand details, topics, and any text you paste. You give us permission to store and process it solely to run the service (including sending it to the AI providers that power generation). You’re responsible for having the necessary rights to what you provide: only upload images you may use, and only paste text — including articles from your subscriptions — that you have lawful access to. Verity produces commentary in your voice; it is not a tool for republishing someone else’s work.
6. What Verity generates
As between you and us, the content Verity generates for you is yours to use in your business. AI makes mistakes: outputs are drafts, and you are responsible for reviewing them before publishing — including accuracy of facts and figures, fair-housing compliance, license and DRE advertising requirements, and your brokerage’s and MLS’s rules. Published content is published by you, not by Verity.
7. Fair use of the service
Don’t use Verity to break the law, infringe anyone’s rights, or generate discriminatory or misleading content. Don’t probe, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or resell the service, and don’t use automation to evade rate limits. We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the service or these terms.
8. Our property
The Verity service — its software, design, brand, name, and mascot — belongs to us. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the service while your account is active, and nothing more.
9. Third-party services
Verity is built on third-party services, including Stripe for payments, Supabase for accounts and storage, and AI model providers for generation. Your inputs are processed by those providers to deliver the service. Their availability affects ours; we don’t control them.
10. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don’t promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated content will be fit for any particular purpose.
11. Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Verity’s total liability for any claims arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data.
12. Ending things
You can cancel your subscription and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 5, 6, 8, 10, and 11) survive.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. For material changes we’ll give notice — by email or in the app — before they take effect. Continuing to use Verity after that means you accept the updated terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
